Beverly "Bev" Jane Nichols, 87, formerly of Ashville, NY passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026 at the Star Hospice House in Lakewood, NY.

She was born May 15, 1938 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late John and Emma Jane Brown Fischer, and graduated from Sugar Grove High School in 1956.

In 1958 she married the love of her life, Harold Nichols. They lived in California for many years where Bev found her passion for both riding and caring for horses.

Bev is survived by her brother, Jerry Fischer of Frostproof FL and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband Harold, Bev was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Deanna Fischer and a brother, John M. Fischer.

No service or visitation will be observed.
