Carol Lou Marino, 76, of Jamestown, passed away late Monday night October 12, 2026, at UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown, NY.

She was born Nov. 26, 1949, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Joseph S. and Josephine B. "Josie" Joy Marino and was a graduate of Jamestown High School.

In earlier years, Carol was employed as a bank teller at Connecticut Bank & Trust in Hartford, Conn. Following her time as a full-time mother, she later worked on and off for 30 years as a bookkeeper for Industrial Construction Co. and Inco Building Company in Newington, Conn.

Above all else, Carol was dedicated to her family. She took immense pride in raising her two sons and cherished every moment spent with her granddaughter Ellie, whom she adored.

Surviving are two children: Brian Matthew Marino of San Diego, Calif., and Nicholas "Mario" Marino of Jamestown, N.Y.; one granddaughter, Ellie Lou Marino of Jamestown, N.Y.; and three siblings: Joseph Marino of Cape Canaveral, Fla., Janet Cusimano and Anthony Marino, both of Jamestown. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21st in Holy Apostles Parish, St. John Church. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.com.
