On Thursday August 15, 2024, Leonard Colucci, loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away at the age of 95 in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

Born in Baselice, Italy on March 15, 1929, Leonard first immigrated to Canada and then came to the United States where he married Lucy F. Colosanti of Jamestown, New York in May of 1957. Together, they raised 4 children Nicholas, Donna, Philomena (Mena), and Michael.

Upon retirement as a self-employed general contractor, he became an avid golfer and golfed into his 90's, where his 18-hole scores were consistently lower than his age. He enjoyed gardening and tinkering. He loved to walk and was able to proudly maintain his fitness, well into his 90's. He will be remembered for his competitive spirit, strong work ethic, and discipline which he passed on to his children.

He is survived by his brother Fioro Colucci, sister Concetta Pupatello, son Nicholas Colucci (Ellie), daughter Donna Cummings (Michael), daughter Dr. Philomena Colucci, son Michael Colucci (Anne), 7 grandchildren including Nicholas (Thao), Alex (Kendall), and John Thomas Colucci (Hannah); Elizabeth Cummings and Emily Schwegman (Joey); and Thomas and Ben Colucci. He is also survived by one great grandchild, Maeve Colucci, and many nieces and nephews. Leonard was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lucy Colucci, parents Nicola and Donna Colucci, and sisters Michelina DelVechio and Maria Colucci.

Friends and family will be received at Lind Funeral Home in Jamestown, New York on August 23, 2024 from 6-8 pm and August 24 from 9-10 am followed by a short memorial service at 10 am. Burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery after the memorial service.
