Linda M. Huntington, 75, formerly of Jamestown and Ripley, died Sunday January 19, 2025, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing.

Born March 27, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Emily Burnham Sears.

She was a graduate of Ripley High School and Jamestown Business College.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Jamestown Metal Corporation as an office worker. She earlier had worked for McDonald Construction.

She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses East congregation.

Linda enjoyed cooking and scrapbooking.

Surviving is her daughter Amy (Kenneth) Olson of Kingsland, GA; grandchildren Christopher Fisk, Angela Thompson and Heather Gates; great grandchildren Graham Fisk, John Gates and Bryson Gates and a sister Diane Shields of Ocala, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Huntington, whom she married December 21, 1968, and who died March 23, 2008; two sons Michael and Currie Huntington and her beloved cat Rocky.

A memorial service will be held at 10 am Friday April 4, 2025, in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour to the service.
