Obituary

Michael John Koresko, 72, of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025, at UPMC Chautauqua. He was born in Jamestown on August 21, 1952, to the late Edward and Emily Pollaro Koresko.

Following his schooling, Michael became a natural entrepreneur. He was a strategic antique collector and salesmen, forever living, learning, and striving to care for his family.

The most humorous man to anyone with which he crossed paths, Michael was always trying to make others laugh. His energetic and athletic nature was an innate attribute from a young age; moreover, his success in minor league baseball had him on the fast track toward the major leagues until a broken elbow slowed him down. Still, Michael was found carrying heavy loads upstairs until his last days. It is remembered that he never sat down unless he was sleeping.

Michael was simply good and genuine to everyone in his life. Thus, he will be missed by his wife, Susan R. Koresko; his children who echoed that they, "couldn't have asked for a better dad:" Michael (Anna) Koresko and Michelle (Jeffrey Sitler) Koresko; and his grandson, Maxwell Koresko.

Besides his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Koresko.

In keeping with Michael's wishes, no visitation or services will be observed.
