Patricia A. Nelson, 89, of Bemus Point, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 13, 2025. She was born to the late Clarence H. and Ruth Lang Swanson in Jamestown on May 13, 1935.

Following high school graduation, Pat married the love of her life, Everett L. Nelson, on July 3, 1954. Together, they lovingly raised their family while owning and operating Nelson Truck Lines in Stow.

Among her hobbies were cooking and especially baking, and she was particularly well known for her homemade pies. She found great joy in doting on grandchildren.

Patricia leaves behind her husband, Everett L. Nelson; her children: William (Linda Helwig) Nelson of Land O Lakes, FL; Nancy (Thomas) Corey of Tully, NY; Betsy (Jack) Wiesener of Saratoga Springs, NY; Robert (Crystal) Nelson of Bergen, NY; Daniel (Sheryl) Nelson of Bemus Point, NY; and Douglas Nelson of Tallahassee, FL; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her sister, Cindy (Dale) Carlson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Swanson; and sisters, Sonya Swanson and Susan Brewer.

There will be a private family service for Pat. Pastor David Mills will officiate.
