Pearl O. Johnson, 77, of Levant Road, Gerry, NY, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends.

Born in Greensburg, PA, in 1949, Pearl later moved to the Gerry Children's Home. In her teens, she was adopted by Lynn and Margaret Johnson of Gerry. Completing the circle, Pearl later moved in with, and cared for, her adoptive parents in their senior years.

Pearl's life was filled with compassion and a deep desire to help others. Following her retirement as a Wastewater Plant Operator in Celeron, NY, she continued serving her community by volunteering at the Office for the Aging in Mayville , NY and Schofield Nursing Home in Kenmore, NY.

Her faith in Jesus, kindness, and devotion to others were reflected in the way she lived each day.

Pearl is survived by her brothers, Lynn A. Johnson of Clifton Park, NY, and Philip W. Johnson of Gerry, NY; and her cousin, Irene Koshinsky , of Jeannette, PA.

She was preceded in death by her late husbands, Dan Luciano of Jamestown and Norman Johnson of Kenmore; her sister, Linda Thompson; and her adoptive parents, Lynn and Margaret Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
