Sam was part-owner of DeAngelo Construction in Jamestown.

He enjoyed time with his family and friends, watching movies, telling jokes and stories, and going to the casino. An avid golfer, Sam was a long-time member of South Hills Country Club. Having never had a hole-in-one in his many years of playing the game, his family fully expects he now will.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Jeri Nash and stepson, Robert Wilson.
