Steven D. Pearson, 77, of 73 Benson Street, died Sunday, January 19, 2025, in UPMC Chautauqua.

Born July 9, 1947, in Jamestown, he was the son of the late Ralph Pearson and Ida Robinson Pearson Miller.

He was a 1965 graduate of Cassadaga Central School.

He was a Vietnam War veteran with US Marine Corps serving from 1967-70.

Prior to his retirement he was employed by Marlin Rockwell Corporation/SKF as a tool and die maker.

Steve was a member of Vietnam Veterans of America and was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Surviving is his wife Lucy Frontera Pearson, whom he married November 25, 1983; two children Douglas (Michelle) Pearson of Williamson, NY and Ashley (Jeff) Pearson Ribaudo of Lakewood; stepchildren Renee (Patrick) Berdine of Russell, PA and Anita (David) Redmon Perlman of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren Nicholas, Kristina, Alissa, Austin, Hailey, Lilly, Brandon, Kaylia, and Keira; great granddaughter Charlotte; sister Susan (Frank) Nalepa of Fredonia and brother William (Amy) Pearson of Travelers Rest, SC.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his stepfather Henry Miller.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
